Gino
I am a full-time father, facilitator, writer, and hip-hop artist. My writing journey began when I learned to rap at age 14. This form of creative expression saved my life as a teenager growing up in East Oakland, California and has been a lifelong tool for healing and connection. Previously, I have served as co-founder and co-director of Youth Impact Hub Oakland, president of the board at La Peña Cultural Center and co-organizer and co-facilitator of the Arts for Social Change Jam.
