Catherine Elkhattaby Strauch

Catherine Elkhattaby Strauch (she/her) is a musician, mama, traveler, amateur chef, book-lover, teacher, student, and generally enthusiastic person. She is originally from Exeter, Maine, but currently lives in Casablanca, Morocco with her husband, fellow jammer Nour, and their 2.5 year old son. Catherine spent 9 years teaching Elementary music in Dexter, Maine and Amherst, Massachusetts, and is now spending time getting to know Casablanca as a resident rather than just a visitor. Catherine loves talking about the wonders of small children, weird food allergies, parenthood, books, traveling the world, Maine, folk/bluegrass music, favorite songs, and anything that brings joy to people’s lives.
