Jen Lazar

Jen Lazar is a writer and educator living between Vermont (and sometimes Virginia!). She co-founded the Field Academy, a traveling high school that strives to make learning and life indistinguishable, and spent the better part of a decade learning from and with students and teachers across the United States. She served as the Education & Outreach Coordinator at 350VT, a Burlington city school board commissioner, and as part of the leadership team of the DREAM mentoring program. Presently she is revising her first book, raising (and being raised by!) a brilliant three year old, and teaching writing in the evenings. She loves to cook brunch, play Capture the Flag, explore archives, and experiment with time-bending. She has been jamming since 2013 and also helps to convene the Education Transformation Jam.
